I Organizer

1. Run Warsaw is organized by Sporting Bogusław Mamiński Corporation, hereinafter “Race”, incorporated at No. HU.642/1650/XIX/139/94, led by Mayor of Międzyzdroje, located Promenada Gwiazd 6, 72-500 Międzyzdroje, with headquartes in Warsaw,  Myśliwiecka street 9.
2. Titular Partner – City of Warsaw.
3. Strategic Partner – Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
4. Support Partner – Koźmiński University.

II. Objectives

1. Dissemination of running as the simplest form of activity.
2. Promotion of physical activity and healthy lifestyle among Polish citizens.
3. Promotion of City of Warsaw.

III. Time and Place

1. Run Warsaw will be held on 2nd of October 2011 in Warsaw.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to change date and place of Race, the participants will be notified of that fact by posting relevant information on the www.biegnijwarszawo.pl website. Changes in this respect do not result in the creation of Organizer and do not result in any additional obligations to participants.
3. Place, time, run’s route will be available on the Organizer website no later than 14 days prior to the Race. Distance: 10 km. The route is certified by PZLA and IAAF. The route will also be marked every kilometer. Time to beat the route is 2 hours. The Organizer reserves the right to change the start time what obliges him to inform participant via the website.
4. Participants set to start at designated areas in accordance with the allocated start numbers. Start numbers are assigned in the order of applications:
   • First-zone – numbers from 1 to 300;
   • Second-zone – numbers from 301 to 10000.

IV. Application and Participation Conditions

1. To participate in the race necessary is correct filling of Registration Form and submitting it to the Race Organizer. Each can do it on-line, on www.biegnijwarszawo.pl or in the Registration Office. Fill out the Registration Form and pay the registration fee referred to in section IV.3. It is tantamount to acceptance of these Regulations. The Organizer reserves the right to reject any Registration Forms, as to which there’s a suspicion that they have been filled incorrectly, and to disqualify any participant for whom there’s reasonable belief that a breach of these Regulations has been made.
2. The limit of participant is 10 000. If you run the limit, organizer reserves the right to early termination of registration.
3. The participant must agree to submit to the requirements of these Regulations, including consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with  Act of August 29, 1997, for the Protection of Personal Data (unified text: Data Protection Act of 2002, No. 101, item. 926). Organizer, as well as entities associated with it, reserves the right to record interviews with each participant, take photos or films, using name, image, voice and other materials from or related to participation in the race for the advertising, publicity and possibility of their use on website or radio and television broadcast, and all commercial needs with the right to modify them. What is more, both the Organizer and its agents and affiliates, reserve the rights to use freely all photos, interviews, films showing the participants all over the world. This kind of images, materials, interviews and recording can be placed free of chare on selected electronic media, including television, radio, newspapers, magazines, websites and exhibitions. Also they can be used for advertising, promotion and any other commercial purposes associated with the activities carried out by Organizer. Therefore participant takes note of the possibilities to modify and shortcut its name, voice and biographical information. The participant declares that Organizer is not and will not be obligated to pay any fees associated with the powers described in this section. The participants grants the Organizer and entities associated with it, an unlimited license to use the participant’s expressions and other information for any purpose without obligation to pay and to notify participant, particularly for advertising and promotion.
4. Registration fee for participation in the Race is 60 PLN. The Organizer announces that he will provide 1 PLN for charity from each participant’s Race. Registration fee can be paid by credit card or internet bank transfer within the period from 30th of May 2011 until the end of startup package stock (10 000). If you register via the website, payment takes place only in Polish national currency. Transactions are handled by the on-line payment system Płatności.pl, located in Poznań, at Marcelińska st. 90. Fee once brought is non-refundable and there’s no possibility to transfer a fee paid for another participant. A participant may make a donation on behalf of other participants. The participant who makes the payment through the www.biegnijwarszawo website must himself ensure a stable internet connection and an appropriate level of computer security by means of which he makes the payment. The Organizer is not responsible for problems and especially for the interception by malicious software and data numbers, credit cards and access to on-line bank accounts. 5. Receiving Startup Package. On www.biegnijwarszawo.pl/register fill out a special form with your details. Then pay the entry fee 60 PLN – credit card or bank transfer. After booking a transfer, get the start number and a confirmation of registration on your e-mail address. When you register on-line, system automatically creates your account, you can check payment status, change your details, and after race you will see your results. In the startup package You can find the starting number, timekeeper chip, brochure, run’s route, event program and gifts from our sponsors and partners (there is a limit of T-shirts). For the day of Run Warsaw, the age of participants must be min. 13. In the case of registration of the underage is required parents’ or legal guardian’s declaration of the child’s ability to participate in recreational and sport activities, signed by parents or legal guardian agreeing for child’s participation, and taking responsibility for the child. To receive your startup package you have to have an identity document in accordance with data given at registration, and printed and signed registration form. If you  wish to receive a startup package for someone else you should have printed and signed confirmation of registration form of that person, a copy of her/his identity document and your identity document. The Organizer is not liable to participant for any liability associated with not collecting the startup package or any of its elements.
6. During the Race, all participants are required to set up in a commemorative Run Warsaw t-shirt with start number received in the startup package. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant and refuse permission to take part in the Race for each participant that will not be dressed in this way.
7. Insurance. The Organizer insured the race. The Organizer does not provide any life, health insurance or liability arising from illness, accident, injury, death, suffering or incurring any loss or damage which may occur because of the presence and/or participation in the Race. Participants are advised, if they deem it necessary to have purchased adequate insurance. The Organizer reserves the right to authorize medical and paramedical personnel employed by or on behalf of the Organizer to provide medical first aid or perform other medical procedures, and transport the injured participant to a safe place. The Participant agrees to the above action. The participant is responsible for all medical costs or transportation costs incurred by the Organizer, its associates, medical and paramedical support equipment, and caused by illness, accident or suffered injury, incurred in connection with the presence or participation of the participant in the race. The participant starts at his own risk and bears the risks involved. All participants acknowledge that participation in the Race is associated with physical effort and involves natural risks and accidents, the possibility of injury and physical injury (including death), also damage and loss of a financial character. Additionally, there may be other risk factors, impossible to predict at this time. Transmission of correctly filled Registration Form to the Organizer and paying the registration fee means that the Participant has considered and evaluated the nature, extent and risks of participation in the Race and voluntarily decided to take this risk, starting in the Race is at your own risk. The participant declares that he will not work to the detriment of the Organizer. The participant declares that he will pay to the Organizer all costs (including attorney's fees and costs of experts) incurred or paid by the Organizer to any person (including the Participant and/or any of its insurers) in connection with any accident, loss, damage or personal injury (including death), arising from their presence or participation of the Participant in the Race with the exception of accidents caused by negligence on the part of the Organizer.
8. Transport. All participants are required to provide transport to the place of the Race at their own expense. The Organizer does not provide any transport for participants.
9. Age restrictions. All participants must be born before 2.10.1998. For the day of Run Warsaw, the age of participants must be min.13. In the case of registration of the underage is required parents’ or legal guardian’s declaration of the child’s ability to participate in recreational and sport activities, signed by parents or legal guardian agreeing for child’s participation, and taking responsibility for the child. 10. Participation of disabled in the Race. In the Race can start people with disabilities, to them applies a time limit of 2h. The Organizer allows the participation of people with disabilities, who do not move on high-performance wheelchairs. The Organizer will not carry out a separate qualification for participants with disabilities.
11. Other restrictions on participation in the Race. Because of safety during the Race it is forbidden to move on bikes, roller skates, skateboards, and running with the animals. Due to the nature of the Race it is forbidden to use Nordic Walking sticks. It is also forbidden to bring on race’s route items that may be dangerous to other participants. On Race place it is forbidden to bring drugs, illegal substances and alcohol of any kind. Participants are forbidden to use drugs and possess these measures and substances, both before and during the Race. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to participate in the Race of people who have been established to have consumed or possess drugs and alcohol of any kind.
12. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant, who does not have the right to participate in the Race. The participant agrees to abide by all rules and regulations that apply to participate in the Race, in particular the principles of fair play.

V. Classification and Awards

1. General classification will be conducted during the Race.
2. All participants who complete the race will receive a commemorative medal and a certificate of completion of the Race.
3. Winner of I – III places in the general classification men and women will receive trophies and prizes. The prizes will be covered by separate regulations available 14 days prior to the Race.

VII. Final Provision

1. If any of the provisions hereof, in whole or in part, shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions (in whole or in part) continue to be valid and enforceable.
2. Binding and final interpretation of the Regulations is one of the Organizer.
3. In matters not covered by the Regulations, The Organizer shall decide.
