Bogusław Mamiński is one of the best Polish athletes who specialize in running 3000 meters distance with obstacles. He was the Finalist in the Moscow Olympic Games (’80) and Seoul (’88), silver medalist at the World Championships in Helsinki (’83) and the European Championships in Athens (’82).
He has won many Polish Championships at various distances representing the Legia Warszawa Club. In 1985 he signed a contract with the Athletic Bojanese Club for 10 years and went to Italy. Fascinated by running, after coming back to Poland, he decided to use his observation and experience to create a cycle of running events and the best of them was Run Warsaw.
Since 2009 Sporting Bogusław Mamiński Company has been the organizer of the next editions of Run Warsaw. The company actively supports Runner Sporting Club.
Sporting Bogusław Mamiński is also the organizer of Władysław Komar and Tadeusz Ślusarski Meetings, pole vault, running events and many others sport events.
