On 3rd of October during Run Warsaw took place the first edition of “Maszeruję – Kibicuję”, the event that was organized in framework of the World Walking Day. The main organizer was Ministry of Sport and Tourism and Sporting Bogusław Mamiński Corporation.

Participation in this action includes passing a 5 km loop during Run Warsaw. The walk was attended by nearly 5 000 participants. Interest of “Maszeruję – Kibicuję” was so great that the startup packages have already gone a few days before the walk.

The route of walkers was led by Robert Korzeniowski – multiple medalist og the Olympic Games and World Championship and Grzegorz Sudoł – silver medalist of European Championship in the 50 km walking.
